On Monday, Oct. 23, the East Jefferson Cross Country JV runners traveled to the JV PR Meet in Puyallup to compete over a 2-mile mostly asphalt course in cool and clear conditions. The races were held by class and genders were combined. Every single EJ competitor set a personal record time in the meet.
In the freshman division, Nico Errichetti placed 7th overall out of 32 runners with a time of 11:39. The second EJ freshman was Luci Sarti in 14th place with a 12:22.
In the sophomore race Grady White was the first EJ runner in a time of 12:00. He took 8th place overall out of 23 competitors.
The junior race was the final race for Rival runners and Morgan Hanson placed 16th out of 23 with a time of 12:43. Fellow junior Nola Bertucci was the highest placing EJ finisher taking 3rd overall with a time of 14:27.
