Washington state health officials report 164 infected with COVID-19 in Jefferson County

The number of COVID-19 cases in Jefferson County has climbed to 164, according to the Washington State Department of Health.

The new cases, reported Sunday, added four additional COVID-19 infections to the county's total.

Across Washington state, the total number of cases stood at 162,700, according to an update from health officials Sunday afternoon. 

In Washington, a total of 2,703 have died from the disease. 

One death from COVID-19 has been reported in Jefferson County.

The coronavirus case count in Jefferson County was 160 on Friday, Nov. 27.
