Roger Reichersamer passed away on Oct. 27, 2020 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Port Townsend at the age of 85. Originally from Wisconsin, he was a longtime resident of Port Townsend. He loved this town.
Roger was the previous owner of the Puffin Shoe Repair shop. He was a 44-year member of Alcohol Anonymous (AA). He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He LOVED coffee.
You may have been introduced to his signature handshake, the Double-Doozie. Please keep it going. He would also remind all to “Go slow” which he didn’t do himself unless absolutely necessary.
Roger was a much loved son, brother, man, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to so many. He is missed very much, but remembered well, and will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be planned and announced, hopefully in the spring of 2021.
