It was a big honking deal.
Quilcene High rolled out a graduation celebration for the 17 seniors of the Class of 2020 Saturday, June 13 before an appreciative crowd who watched through rain-speckled windshields.
It wasn't a bumper-to-bumper bash, but more of a parking-lot party for the graduating seniors, with lines of cars filled with parents, families and friends spaced 6-feet apart to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Graduates marched two-by-two to the front of the drive-in style setup, to the shouts of joyous families and a chorus of car horns.
