NORTHWIND ARTS CENTER

Northwind Arts Center is following its board’s recommendation to cancel all events through March and April.

“I think this is the best option, not only in terms of health precautions, but the clear reluctance of people to go out to public events,” said Matt Miner, music performance manager for Northwind. “We wouldn’t have much of an audience in any case.”

Miner hopes to follow up with the performers soon about finding dates later in the year or next year when they might return.

In the meantime, this has meant canceling the Port Townsend School of the Arts “Print Night” on Wednesday, March 18, as well as the Northwind Songs presentations of Pretty Gritty on Friday, March 20, and Stephanie Schneiderman on Friday, April 17.
